Doxycycline side effects
Call your doctor or seek emergency medical help if you experience any allergic reactions such as difficult breathing, hives, or lips, tongue, face and throat swelling.
Stop using Doxycycline and call your health care provider if you experience the following serious side effects:
- urinating less than usual or not at all,
- severe headache, dizziness, blurred vision,
- severe blistering, peeling and red skin rash,
- severe pain in your upset stomach that spreading to your back,
- nausea, vomiting and fast heart rate,
- fever, chills, body aches and flu symptoms,
- dark colored urine, confusion or weakness, and yellowed skin,
- easy bruising or bleeding,
- loss of appetite.
Less serious side effects that Doxycycline may cause are:
- sores or swelling in your rectal (genital) area,
- vaginal itching or discharge,
- swollen tongue, trouble swallowing,
- vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset and mild nausea,
- white patches or sores inside of your mouth or on your lips.
