What is Doxycycline?
Doxycycline is a member of tetracycline antibiotics group. It is used to treat a variety of infections, including pneumonia and other respiratory infections. Doxycycline prevents the grows of bacteria in the body and it’s spreading in the body.
Also Doxycycline is used to prevent malaria, to treat urinary tract infections, acne, chlamidia, gonorrhea and periodontitis. It may be prescribed to treat bumps, blemishes and acne-like lesions caused by rosacea (Doxycycline will not treat redness caused by resacea) and it will treat certain amoeba infections in combination with other drugs.
